Making New Year\’s resolutions is very easy. There is nothing difficult about losing extra weight. But. The New Year, especially before Christmas, tends to be indulgent, and the idea of suddenly stopping eating, or at least reducing the amount of …… Bruh bruh bruh!
So, we can only add an addendum to the weight loss resolution that it will be achieved through exercise. Since weight loss cannot be achieved except through exercise or reduced consumption, all the miracle cures and wonders are only suitable for slimming one\’s wallet.
And so we enter the New Year convinced that we will sport We put on sweatpants or shorts, a T-shirt and sneakers and run out of the house. Because no one can become a world champion in a minute. It takes time.
But what kind of time? How do you stay agile, healthy, and ultimately look like an athlete? How do you avoid breaking down early in your athletic career?
As is often said , it is advisable to start slow. Perhaps start with a brisk walk, like a 30-minute stroll in the park. Then, when you feel up to it, try running. That is, however, if our more-than-massive bodies don\’t hit our joints too hard and give us heart attacks.

It also helps to start keeping a sports diary and write down your results and progress in that diary. This is because you won\’t see obvious results from day one. It is also not a bad idea to take pictures to check your condition. As long as you don\’t make a mistake and make a splash. Even a “before and after” photo should motivate us.
Next, we should engage in sports that give us pleasure. Because if we kill ourselves and remain in a bad mood because of it, we won\’t last long.
But sports should also be interspersed with rest. This is in order to gain new strength for further, perhaps even more heroic feats. Otherwise, we will “wither away” and the sport that is supposed to help us will begin to kill us.
And exercise is certainly not meant to be a punishment for indulging in the past any more than it is healthy. We should also reward ourselves for such physical activity if we honestly feel we deserve it.
But such a reward should not be a kilo of steak accompanied by a mountain of potato salad and ten beers.
